wa haha... 20 days without blogging. where are all my readers? haha... so sorry cos busy with army stuff, when book out busy with other stuff too. haha...

anyway throughout these 20 days, i completed most of my BMT activities le...
Completed: 8km/16km Route March, 4km/2km Fast March, Situtational Test, Basic Close Combat Training, Basic Assault Course, IPPT cat.
well, i am actually glad that in this 3rd IPPT i took since i entered i was able to get a pass. haha... kanna screwed up by my SBJ!!! almost got an silver le...

next week and the week after next we will be having more activites too. we have the Standard Obstacle Course, 24km Route March, IPPT, Games Day and finally the POP parade~!!!

haha... 2 more bookout and i will graduate from Tekong le. not sure of how i would feel during that time yet... imagine all the buddies that stayed with me for 13weeks gonna seperated liao. sobz... haha. but dun worry, we would be gathering for Dota matches~! haha...

during these periods many of my close friends had their birthday celebration. they include: Syl, Peiboon, Yuxuan, Xiang Hui and also our 21 Jialing~! haha... old liao le la. hee...

-4 Aug 2007-

first of all, Happy Birthday to Sylvia~! next, thanks to those that involved in surprising me last night... haha. didnt expect that...

anyway i am back from 6 days of field camp liao le. tiring week sia...now i shall do a summary of fieldcamp.
Day 1: woke up early morning to draw our rifles. we load our field pack onto tonner before embarking on a 8k route march~! after a long long walk, we finally reached our campsite. build our basha and start digging the drainage system. then the worst thing happened, it rained. the rain flood the path and we dig even faster to challenge the rain... everyone was demoralized. then we had lunch before going for IFC practice. had dinner in evening before having our powder bath and changing into new uniform.

Day 2: morning we changed into the wet uniform again for training. basically the whole day was spent training and preparing for the test on day 3. and unfortunately it rained too... after dinner, we went on a night trail... that place was totally different at night. at some point u cant even see ur hand in front of you. haha... we had a individual night walk at one portion.

Day 3: early morning we tore down our basha and prepare to move to another campsite. our field pack were loaded onto tonner while we carry on with our Battle Course test. we walked about 2.4km in groups of 3 and along the way we have to perform some enemy encoutered. after the test we travelled on tonner to the next campsite. the place was pathetic~! cos some other company took our spot in the palm plantation, we have to go into the jungle.sadly raining again.. we even have to chop off roots of trees to clear an area for ourselves. well, my platoon always seems to be the kio sai platoon... haha. that night we slept in the open without any tentage.

Day 4: we dug our grave the whole day. meaning, we dig a hole long and wide enuff, and also knee depth for us to sleep on... spent the whole day doing that. during the night, we slept in that muddy grave... it rained, but luckily only for a short while. we finally get to bath on day4~! one jerry can 3 person share... haha. well, i didnt even bother to tkae out my soap lor..

Day 5: our Urban Ops day~! haha... basically it means that we played real life Counter-Strike in grps of 3. easy to understnad rite? just take a rifle, load it with blanks and walk into 3 rooms shooting at any targetboard u see... lasted till dinner time. Day5 night was long... we had to take turns to sleep.

Day6: EARLY morning, at about 6am... gunshots was heard. everyone of us loaded our rifle and keep shooting... haha. and those who fired off too early like me, were like idiots shouting "bang bang bang". haha... though tired but it was the last day~! we took the tonner to another area after our breakfast... over there, we had to do something clalled Battle Innoculation Course, whereby we have to leopard crawl for about 70m and back crawl about 30m. me and my buddies chiong all the way...~! haha.. went back to camp at about noon~!
